A Bit of Background
Founded in 1975, St. Johns Education Association is the local teachers' union representing the educators of St. Johns County. We are the sole bargaining agent for St. Johns County teachers’ compensation and working conditions. We are continuously working to support our educators through advocacy at the local, state, and national level. SJEA is affiliated with the Florida Education Association, National Education Association, American Federation of Teachers, and the AFL-CIO.
