Together, we make a difference

St. Johns Education Association is proud to support and push for change throughout the education and labor landscape. We can’t be successful without a strong membership! Year after year, the Florida legislature crafts bills designed to decimate public sector unions—and year after year, our membership grows.  Our percentage of members—well over half of St. Johns County teachers belong to SJEA –has an impact at the bargaining table. The higher the membership percentage, the more strength we have behind our proposals. As a union member, you receive representation at the local, state, and national level; legal representation for disciplinary issues; professional development courses  specifically for members and led by members; and a host of benefits ranging from life insurance to travel discounts. Most importantly, union membership gives you a chance to be involved and make decisions as part of our collective voice.
